Scout Jerkbait is an incredibly easy-to-fish and effective jerk bait. Fished best by crank-jerking or twitching to get a nice side-to-side walk. Scout Jerk has a nice swimming action during normal spinning, easily sweeps out to the sides at spin-stops. Scout Jerkbait is a slowly sinking lure and fishes at a depth of 0.5-1.5m, if you use fluorocarbon leader it fishes shallower and with a steel/titanium leader a little deeper. For really shallow fishing, you can change the hooks from 2/0 to 1/0. If you want to fish deep, you can weight your jerk with lead stickers (type Power dots), the bait does not lose its action.
